What's Cookin'?

Hey Guys! So tonight I decided to make some "Crazy for Coconut Macaroon Bars!" If you like chocolate and coconut you will LOVE IT. It was super easy to make and a pretty quick clean up. My wonderful mom got the stuff to make it from a vendor at work, boy am I glad she took up that oppurtunity!

All you need to do is buy the mix by "Tastefully Simple"(you can buy online and in select stores)

Melt 6 tablespoons of butter and let it cool to room temperature.

Take 2/3 of sweetened non fat condensed milk and mix in with butter.

Pour butter and condensed milk mixture into the pre made- coconut mix and stir.

Then pour the mix and spread it out in a 8x8 greased oven pan.

Put it in the oven for about 19-25 minutes.(until edges are brown)

Let them cool for about 20 minutes then cut them evenly and ENJOY!

^Not so hard huh? I'm so excited to take them to school tomorrow for people to try. Sometime soon I will be making Magic Bars, and Cake Balls. I will be sure to post about those too. If anyone has any recipe ideas I would love to try them out:) let me know what you guys think about this one!

Dare to Dream

Something that has been on my heart alot lately is dreams. Not the dreams you have at night when you go to sleep, but the things that you wish way down in your heart would come true. A reoccuring message of shooting for the stars has been playing like a song in my head. Literally.  For example: Justin Beiber's ", "Never Say Never", Katy Perry's "Firework", Needtobreathe's "Something Beautiful", Lecrae's "1 Life." Where do I even begin? I have even stumbled across verses in the Bible telling me that I have believe then I could pray for anything God would answer.( Matthew 21:18-21)

Knowing that with God I could do all things totally changed my perspective on my future and the way that I live. I want to go travel the world and see what beauty it has to offer. I want to learn about the cultures of other people and see from their perspective. I want to love them, help them and live selflessly pouring my heart out to them. All while sharing my passion for music and theatre, keeping that involved in my life. Finally, I want to fall in love with someone has the same heartbeat as I do and who treats me like a queen. I never wanna settle for anything less. Thats the key I think. Never settling. Never settle for less than you deserve or else you will get less than you settled for. When you see someone sitting all alone at lunch never  settle for letting someone else ask that person to sit with them when you could do it yourself. NEVER SETTLE. Always love. Always give everything you have in to each and every day. Dream a big dream and never settle for anything less. Work hard and let God show you what he can do.

With all this in mind. Sit back, dream your wildest dream, and go for it.
